There are so many theories on how Remy came to be, because he almost have a fighting style as Guile, it is been rumored that he is Guile's bastard son. Another theory that he might be Charlie's or Remy is Guile's student and Abel's son because both Remy and Abel are French and have no clue about their identities, the myth goes on and on.
Let's start with from toe to head because most of my rants about this figure starts from there. Sporting bell-bottoms (sheesh what era did he come from?), the bottom hinders the feet articulation. So hindered that you have to place the legs sideways to make him stand. Even if the bottoms are soft rubber, the ankles almost completely immobilized.
The clicky torso hinge is also awkward if you look at the proportions. This is more noticeable when bent forward. His default head, though it is well-sculpted, restricts head articulation, it is also the same with the air-blown extra head.
Least of my qualms about Remy is the paint apps. This is my only Street Fighter figure that has paint that doesn't flake or chip off. Other accessories are the 4 interchangeable chopping hands - two right hands have 2 rings (one index and the other on the ring finger) and the left hands only have one.
My verdict: Remy is a forgettable figure just like its game character....if you are a Remy fan, I'm sorry its my opinion. The joints on the mid section is weird, design is awkward and the feet articulation is terrible. Everything just falls apart. I don't even know why he is part of this wave, they could have chosen someone else there are better characters - Charlie ring a bell?
