The first series to produce a massive number of Kamen Riders and probably were the idea of a Kamen Rider War began. Welcome to my review SIC Kiwami Tamashii Ryuki. Produced as part of the second wave of Kiwami Tamashii line, lets see if he is a keeper shall we?
Like I mentioned, since he belong to the second wave of KTs there has been improvements in terms of box design and the look and feel. Also, improvements in terms of accessory count.
Priced at 1,200 - 900 yen (depending where you bought it), Ryuki has good articulation points at a slew of accessories to boast with.
Ryuki came with a Dragredder. The detail of the dragon head is superb. For a small accessory you will growl with such majesty. The mouth piece does move to give that extra drama especially when settled on a battle pose. Other than that is his sword. The handle is painted in metallic red and the tip is covered in matte silver. I do like the simplicity of the paint apps because it brings the detail of the sword more if held up close.
Articulation wise, it is pretty decent - with all the nooks and crannies you dream of in a 2-inch figure. Just be on guard when replacing the default hands with the other. You might get confused where is actually the elbow. Like for example when I placed the Dragredder on one arm, the hinges don't indicate where is the elbow because it bends without any restraints.
For me Ryuki continues to be a keeper than other SIC KTs because of articulation and doesn't cheap us with the accessory detail and number. I hope there are more SIC KTs like Ryuki.
