OCN Animation announced additional information about the most anticipated toku movie of the decade on their official blog: Kamen Rider x Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen! A clash of heroes from Kamen Rider and Super Sentai Series.
It was on April 1971 when Kamen Rider, a bike-riding hero first brought the word henshin (transform) into popularity. After that the series has continued on.
In 1975, Himitsu Sentai Goranger went on the air. These heroes clad themselves in colorful, powerful clothing. There are over 200 of these "Super Sentai" warriors.
2011 was a collaborative anniversary for both franchises. Kamen Rider celebrated their 40th year (with OOO) and Super Sentai its 35th year (through Gokaiger). While Japan was facing unprecedented crises, these two hero series brought dreams and hope to the people. However, their mission is not yet complete.
2012 ends both anniversaries but this time their battles reaches new heights. Heroes of both series will now gather for an unprecedented great battle! Thanks to Toei's effort, this will come into fruition.
Since the beginning, Kamen Rider and Super Sentai have defended the planet and beyond, but a certain event will change all that. Kamen Rider Decade has lead to fight against Super Sentai as Captain Marvelous/GokaiRed starts his own fight against the riders.
Decade gathers all evil organizations and becomes the Great Leader of "Dai-Shocker", while GokaiRed takes control of "Dai-Zangyack", becoming its Great Emperor.
Both leaders evil organizations speak of a "Big Machine Project". To understand what this means, the time travelling DenLiner ventures into the past. So which is the strongest?
