Akibaranger Episode 9 is entitled: The Pain Sentai Breaks Up. "Ita Sentai, Kaisan." (痛戦隊、解散。). Akagi, Mitsuki and Yumeria are looking at blog photos of their recent battle while waiting for the phone call from Tsukada when Hiroyo asks for their MMZ-01 units and announces that the Akibarangers are officially disbanded. She locks the units in the safe and activates the closet's security lock before having Kozkoz escort the trio out of the café. At another café, Yumeria suddenly receives a phone call from Malseena, who once again disguises her voice as Tsukada and asks to interview them. Yumeria explains that the Akibarangers are unable to transform, but Akagi grabs the phone and says they will be there at the meeting
place.
