Toy Review: Revoltech Date Masamune (Sengoku Basara)

Here is my written review of the One-Eyed Dragon in Revoltech form, the Revoltech Date Masamune from Sengoku Basara. Date Masamune has a nice design and sculpt following through his rival.

What will caught your eye at first is the slightly chromed crescent on his head piece. Then you'll slowly look on a bird's eye view the soft PVC mold on the jacket then the sharp styled bracer's and gloves.

On his head is a Revoltech joint on the head allowing a very flexible tilt. Changing the faces starts from the neck plugging back a new facial expression ala Figma-esque fashion. Even with the highly poseable joints, the overall design is not compromised.

He has  six katana's plugged on their respective sheaths, a pair of hands holding 3 swords each, two pairs of extra hands to hold one blade each. Date comes with two facial expressions; a plain some-what smirking expression, and an angry teeth gritted expression. Other offerings include the staple stand, Revoltech chip, slash effect and an orange transluscent box.

Overall, this figure is awesome and timeless, great to pair with Sanada Yukimura. You can even end your Basara collection with these two on hand. More to this from the video review below.
