Here are more scans of the new Akibaranger suits in the much awaited Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger Season 2. This were published on this month's issue of Hyper Hobby Magazine. Also included are clearer images of their equivalent upcoming S.H. Figuarts offerings.
As posted previously, the team will have an upgrade/new costume design and AkibaRed will have a new weapon, a Z-Cune Dagger, for the upcoming season. What is exciting to know is
that Malsheena is holding a MMZ-01 and about to transform (?). Malsheena
exclaims "JAMOSO" (evil delusion). Does this means she is the rumored
AkibaViolet?
On the official website, Masato Wada (AkibaRed), Karin Ogino (AkibaYellow), Honoka (Malsheena) and Maaya Uchida (Hiroyo Hakasa), Kozue Aikawa (Kozkoz)
are confirmed to return on the second season. However, Kyoko Hinami will be replaced by 14 year old Shione Sawada,
the new AkibaBlue/Mitsuki Iwashimizu. In addition, a new character,
General Tsu will be played by Ryo Horikawa (Dragon Ball Z's Vegeta). Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger S2 will premiere this April 6th at BS Asahi.
