The Japan Toy Association's 6th annual Japan Toy Award recently announced its 2013 winners during a press conference held at International Tokyo Toy Show 2013. Judges comprises of respected representative from the Japanese toy industry as well as from selected media. This year's first price winners are form the series Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, Dokidoki! PreCure, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, Mazinger Z and Kamen Rider Wizard. All of the three titles are produced by the Toei group and their toys are produced by Bandai.
Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger "Kamitsuki-Gattai DX Kyoryujin" received the first prize in the boy's toy category. Dokidoki! PreCure's transformation item toy "Dokidoki! PreCure Henshin Lovely Commune" received the first prize in the character toy category. Kamen Rider Wizard's "Henshin Belt DX Wizard Driver" received the "2012 Hit Sales" award. Lastly, Bandai has announced on their official website that the DX Mazinger Z won first prize in the High Target Toy Category.The winners will be displayed at International Tokyo Toy Show 2013 at Tokyo Big Sight West Exhibition Hall from June 13th to 16th.
