Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Nega Den-O

It is not surprising that the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Nega Den-o followed after Sword Form was released. As for its form, Nega Den-o almost has the exact mold from Sword Form from head to toe, including the Nega Den-O Belt. What was red on Sword Form becomes purple on Nega Den-O with tribal accents.

What Sword Form is inclusive with, so does Nega Den-O. For example are the effect parts such electric rods, the spark ball base and the blade of the sword that you need to assemble for his version of the hissatsu attack called the Negaxtreme Slash. Markers or indicators are on the effects to complete the form without the need to second guess which side goes on which part.

Other similar accessories include the Nega DenGasher, two holsters with the disassembled sword, 6 hands, a rider pass and another sword that has the blade removed from the handle. Most of the parts also have those tribal paint applications as well. What is lacking is the Den-O Gun Form's Wild Shot which he actually used in the movie Kamen Rider Den-O & Kiva: Climax Deka.

Just like other Nega Den-O figures prior to the S.H. Figuarts version, this one entirely is a duplicate mold from Sword Form with changes only on the paint application. Articulation poses no problem especially to those have Sword form and actually enjoyed the figure. What would collectors shy away from is only its Tamashii Web Exclusive tag.
