In the latest scan of the upcoming Sailor Moon merchandises indicate that there might be a new Sailor Moon anime coming end of 2013 to early 2014. In commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of the popular magical girl manga, the lists indicate "New anime starts?? More goods scheduled to debut!".
It was reported on the August issue of Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine that idol group, Momoiro Clover Z's upcoming concert this August 4 will reveal a new song that is in line with the new anime series. It is rumored that this will be for this Sailor Moon remake.
The first announcement for the new Sailor Moon anime came from Fumio Osano (Osabu), the Sailor Moon manga's Kodansha editor, however it was confirmed in April that this will be delayed for undisclosed reasons.
