Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Beast

The S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Beast’s base form comes with a few highlights such as the golden features on the body, the Beast Driver and the similar-looking Latoratar head sculpt with green compound eyes. Of course the biggest signifier is the Lion shoulder pad on his left.

Kamen Rider Beast has one of the biggest number of hand replacements in one package. Some of these are his signature poses that you often see in the TV morning show and for holding the Dice Saber. The Dice Saber includes a longer blade that can be switched with its default tip and 6 dice. To place the die in the saber, remove the disc and sliding the new part in. It will be a challenge at first to do this as the gaps are tight and there is no place to leverage. Finally, Kamen Rider Beast is not complete with out a bottle of mayonnaise.

The S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Beast looks better than Kamen Rider Wizard but if you are looking for a TV accurate figure, this is still not it. Its head is somewhat bigger than it should and in my opinion, the Beast Driver seems too high almost covering his washboard abs. It is also the first time I’m saying this but the hand replacements seem too much to manage. I’m not saying this is a bad figure but as much possible I want to provide a balance review with these small notes. To conclude and want to emphasize, this still looks better than Wizard in several aspects. More to this from the video review below.
