Though there were mixed reactions on the suit design of Kamen Rider Gaim, it seems that the show promises return to formula, following some flavors seen on earlier Heisei riders such as Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki and Faiz. This month's Hyper Hobby Magazine interviewed Gen Urobuchi, Kamen Rider Gaim’s head writer and revealed the inspiration for Kamen Rider Gaim.
Some of the highlights include Gen's influence from Kamen Rider Black. In addition, Naomi Takebe, the show's producer, made special requests to Gen not to go with the two part episode formula. There was no point in
letting a monster get away one episode only to immediately die
afterwards. Check out the entire Q&A from this link.
Kota Kazuraba/Kamen Rider Gaim will be played by 2011's Junon Superboy
contest winner - Gaku Sano. Produced by Motoi Sasaki and Naomi Takebe,
written by Gen Urobuchi,
directed by Ryuta Tasaki and Takayuki Shibasaki, Kamen Rider Gaim starts
airing this October 6.
