More screens have appeared online naming Cooler and Broly joining the list of playable characters PS Vita,
Xbox 360 and Play Station 3 game entitled: Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z. Cooler from the movie Dragon Ball Z: Cooler’s Revenge, and Broly from the movie, Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan will also have different single player forms.
Cooler's base form is Ki Blast type, Cooler Final Form (Fighting type), Mecha Cooler (Ki Blast type), Super Saiyan Broly (Ki Blast type), Legendary Super Saiyan Broly (Fighting type). Also included in the slew of screens are from the movie Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods namely - Super Saiyan God Goku (Fighting type), Whis (Fighting & Support type) and Bills (Fighting type).
The release date in Japan will be this January
23, 2014, followed by Europe the next day and North American on the 28th. There will be a "Day One Edition" which includes a download code for Goku's Naruto Uzumaki Sage Mode Costume
from the popular NARUTO SHIPPUDEN series. Dragon Ball Z and Naruto fans
can reserve a copy of the game to guarantee their Day One Edition Bonus.
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z
will have over 60 missions, retelling the Goku's story starting from the Saiyan Arc to the
Frieza Saga. Players can unlock extra characters and earn cards, which they can use to
customize fighters at the end of each mission. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z
has skill cards that let you change what abilities characters have and
strengthening cards that up stats like Ki Blast power. The game will
allow up to 4 players to play together as a team or go
head to head with other 4 players for a 8 player death battle.
The game will have online multiplayer support and can build team attacks such as "Synchro Rush" or boosting each other's health via "Revive Soul." In addition, it was also announced that it will feature Super Saiyan God, Goku's form that was introduced in the movie, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods film. As of this post, confirmed characters included in this game are: Goku (Base, Super Saiyan God), Vegeta, Raditz, Nappa, Krillin, Tien, Piccolo, Kid Gohan, Ginyu, Jeice, Burter, Recoome, Guldo, Saibaman Super Saiyan Trunks, Android 18, Dr. Gero, Gohan and Andriod, 16, 17, 18,
