Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Space Sheriff Sharivan

The 3rd installment to the Space Sheriff series is the red metal hero known as the S.H. Figuarts Space Sheriff Sharivan. Den Iga’s persona as the 2nd Metal Hero Sheriff validates the core standards of the S.H. Figuarts line. The figure also employs a metallic red paint application with bits and pieces following the 1983 show. As a default, the former racer has a holster already latched on his right thigh.

Rather than having an effect part, Sharivan is inclusive of 6 hands, his laser blade in two forms, his gun called the Crimebuster and an extra head with the visors lighted up. The gun when not in use can be holstered smoothly on the figure and the extra head is easy to replace though I wish it glows in the dark.

If not for movies such as Super Hero Taisen, kids today wouldn’t even know about Space Sheriffs or the Metal Hero Legacy. Moreover we will be stuck with less-than-awesome figures such as Action Works. As for the figure, he has great articulation, enough number of exchangeable parts even if he didn't include an effects set just like Gavan. Quite pricey since this is a Tamashii Web exclusive but at least this boasts better features, a true collectible in the Metal Hero genre. More to this from the video review below.
