Shinji Yamashita at 62, Transforms Into KyoryuSilver

At age 62, veteran actor Shinji Yamashita who plays as Daigo's father Dantetsu Kiryu in Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger will be transforming into Kyoryu Silver in episode 45 entitled: It can’t be, Dad! Silver’s End. At the general surprise, Dantetsu betrays Torin and goes to Deboth’s side! Will Torin meet his end by the hands of his old friend.

Shinji Yamashita holds the record of the oldest actor to transform into a Super Sentai warrior according to a Sports Hochi newspaper interview scan seen above. Previously, this status was held by Shigeru Chiba (59) who played as Doctor Ulshade / Kyoryu Violet on the same show.
