The new Kikaider/Jiro will be played by Jingi Irie and the original actor,
Daisuke Ban will make an ppearance in the movie as the mysterious
psychologist Kyujiro Maeno. Joining the cast are Aimi Satsukawa
who will play as Dr. Komyoji's daughter Mitsuko. Other cast members will
include Kazushige Nagashima, Hirotaro Honda, and Ryuji Harada.
The plot takes place where the "Ark Project" uses robots to solve
problems and what Japanese government can't solve with human power
alone. Robot engineering expert Nobuhiko Komyoji perishes and his rivals
stole his plans. Komyoji's creation, Jiro, awakens and becomes the
hero.
