Toy Review: R&M DX Ride Shooter

The R&M DX Ride Shooter is practically made for R&M Kamen Rider Ryuki figures released in the earlier years when Kamen Rider Ryuki was on air. To get it out of the way, the set is inclusive of 2 Advent Cards that you can only use if you have one of the roleplay toys related to the show.

Coming back to the vehicle, one may obviously notice that this is a big and clunky toy. The biggest highlights are the chromed mufflers and heavy die-cast chassis and sleek rubber wheels. Even if the toy only have two wheels, it balances perfectly without toppling on it side. The gimmick is pressing the button on the nose thus flinging into another button on the back and in a single motion, pops the seat. On the show, the seat has a slower more dramatic function. The R&M figures are then pegged on soft and detachable seat belts. These are not secure enough thus the biggest set back of this vehicle. Inside is a less matching detail but the sticker console begs to differ.

The more obvious question I get is that does your S.H. Figuarts fit perfectly on the Ride Shooter? Yes and no. If you are looking at old SHFs such as Agito, he will blend well but the latest S.H. Figuarts Ryuki figures will be able to sit but the legs will cramped itself hitting the handle bars. In that Shouchaku Henshins or R&M figures will match with this DX. The DX Ride Shooter is good in its class with smooth wheels and sturdy make. You can have a better debate as the S.H. Figuarts counterpart has already arrived.
