After its first released teaser, Toei has announced that the company will not be only releasing 1 but 2 Space Sheriff/Uchuu Keiji V-Cinemas this year. The movies will focus on the other two space sheriffs, Sharivan and Shaider entitled: Sheriff Sharivan NEXT GENERATION and Space Sheriff Shaider NEXT GENERATION. With this, Toei has released their first video regarding this announcement.
The movies are set after the events of Uchuu Keiji Gavan The Movie and Super Hero Taisen Z. Riki Miura and Hiroaki Iwanaga will reprise their roles as the 2nd Sharivan and Shaider respectively. A recent press conference also revealed the remaining cast, Naomi Morinaga reprises her role as Annie, Misaki Momose (Dino Girl Lemnear/Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Gaburincho Of Music), Mayu Kawamoto as Shaider's new partner and also Yuma Ishigaki returns as Gavan Type-G. Also present during the press conference was Hiroshi Watari, the original Sharivan.
Sheriff Sharivan NEXT GENERATION and Space Sheriff Shaider NEXT GENERATION will be directed by Koichi Sakamoto, and will be released on October 10th and November 7th respectively, with a limited first edition priced at 4500 yen on DVD and 5500 yen on Blu-Ray.
