Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Great Saiyaman

But before continuing on with the review; he needs his cape which is inclusive in the set. There are two parts of the set which the collar needs to be put into the whole first then the rest of the cape. The S.H. Figuarts Great Saiyaman is Bandai’s representation of Gohan technically in his mid-teens on a costume that Bulma made. The figure is made from soft plastic and PVC. The figure also has its signature green overalls, black tights, white gloves and boots and a watch strapped on his left wrist. More to this from the video review.

Accessories include a green extra panel for his back to close the gap if you are not using the cape, additional mouth piece for the helmet, 8 extra hands, extra pair of antennas, replacement forearms for the left side without the watch and 3 extra heads for his base form, super saiyan and a version with a bandana and shades. Replacing the mouth piece entails removing the lower part of the helmet first then you''ll see where to place the open mouth version.

The entire set comes all with the necessary accessories that you need to place Gohan in different forms. I like how the lower skirt is flexible enough to move the legs unlike other Figuarts such as the female sentai lines. The base form head is really off and the feels like it belongs to another anime. One more thing that is off about the head is that it is disproportionate to the neck and the rest of the body. Good thing that other base form heads like Ultimate Son Gohan does fit, in case you do not like the one included in this set. Balancing will be a challenge too with the cape but you can use this as an anchor for different poses.
