The SOTA Street Fighter line started in 2004. It could have covered a lot of Street Fighter characters even the ones we hoped they would have from Street Fighter 1 to Third Strike. An example I wished they could have produced are Guy, Elena, Sean and Alex. Sadly and even SF IV. Sadly, they came up short of the names I mentioned then Neca continued with the franchise. At least Sota have managed to create the ones we've known so far and E. Honda was part of it.
E stands for Edmond, E. Honda is an undefeated sumo wrestler choose to move on by finding other fighters worthy of his skill, thus he entered the Street Fighter tournament. Apart from that, E. Honda's passion to find other opponents was fueled by the mindset of the common that sumo isn't a real sport. Through Sodom's influence, E. Honda sought to bring sumo wrestling to a higher level of awareness.
