Ready to go, count zero, Kamen Rider AGITO!!! I had enough of the SIC Kiwami Tamashii Blade series so I am moving over to simpler things like Kamen Rider Agito. Kamen Rider Agito is what I mentioned-simple.
The box design is somewhat a tone down version of the SIC Kiwami Tamashii boxes we've seen in the past few years. Which made me think in a bit. Bandai started with Hibiki with a design that is both small and flashy. Then, the succeeding box designs were elegant and makes Kamen Rider fans wanting KTs more. Now its like they are going back to square one. The best thing I liked about this is that they ditched the twisties that hold the figure in its casing and instead, made the plastic case similar to SHFs. This makes it more convenient for users to play and place the figure back in for a clean storage. Yipee Bandai heard me.
Some improvements were made into SIC KTs with Agito. For example are the shoulder pads. These now have hinges so you can extend the arms higher while having huge accents on it. The ball joint on the head is more curved so that the articulation can be extended. Unfortunately, the neck joint doesn't help on the the overall movement as it is somewhat limited. I don't know why...hmmm...Just like its SIC counterpart, the extra horns are hidden at the back of its main horns. Unfolding them is easy.
For the arms and the rest of the extremities, additional hinges are in place for more articulation and poseability.
Agito has four hands - two open hands and two holding hands. Why are there holding hands? You might be thinking that in Ground state, Agito doesn't wield any weapons. Think again. Recently there were news that SIC KT Agito will have an SIC KT Machine Tornador. The first bike for SIC KT line! (Auto Vaijin is also considered a bike - but its more like a buddy than a bike, in my opinion).
The paint apps are simple but very detailed and well made. For an affordable price point coupled with almost perfect articulation and poseability, I rank SIC KT Agito amongst the likes of Hibiki and Faiz. I hope that Bandai has learned their lesson and take Agito as a good step to make similar good looking SIC KTs.
