Toy Review: SIC Kiwami Tamashii Faiz Blaster

I'm having a blast with SIC Kiwami Tamashii Faiz Blaster Form with a bit of hiccups here and there. Just like Axel, the form and engineering effort that was placed in this figure is top notch.

Although he is supposed to be a remold of SIC KT Faiz, Blaster form is more sleek and rounded. The striking red paint apps sets him apart from the other two. His chest and shoulder armor are in an angular and round shape.

Faiz Blaster comes with a jetpack with ball joint hinges that you can swivel from its sides to front making the pair from a jet booster to a fully mounted automatic shooting thingamajigs. The rest of the joint may be tight on the screw but left the ankle on his right side leads to a dismay because it is loose.

Blaster may be the best looking among the trio but packs less. He comes with the Faiz shot, pointer, a pair of open hands and a blaster. The blaster converts into two modes, the riffle and the sword. Both are easy to switch but you might nitpick that the barrel is on an angle.

Another hiccup are the holding hands which is also the default hands. The fingers on the right are too close to each other, this makes it difficult to let Faiz hold the blaster. The left hand is even worse, it seems like it is melted and it is impossible to place anything in - utterly useless.

If you are a Faiz fan, you'll definitely fall in love with this and with the complete accessories at hand (Faiz to Blaster form), you can reenact the forms just like on the show.

Blaster for me wins in the aesthetics category but the lack of accessories makes Axel win by a hair.
