Toy Review: SH Figuarts Ankh Stand Set

Ahh, one of my spur-of-the-moment pre-ordered items for the month of August. The SH Figuarts Ankh Stand Set. I'm not so sure why I wanted one probably I was interested on how this will turn out. The Ankh Stand Set is actually a pretty release and it is not exclusive (it shouldn't be at 20 bucks). This is far better than the exclusive Unkh figure that came with first release SHF Tatoba.

The package is half the size of a regular SHF release but still retains the bo art of the SHF Kamen Rider OOO release. Just see it as a pint-size SHF box. Instead of Unkh as previously spelled on the 1st Tatoba Release, we have now Ankh as per the subbed videos we see on sites such as TV Nihon.

Ankh has a few accessories such as a plain Tamashii Stage Act 4. It should be naturally hence the name of the set. The stand/stage also came with connectors that are easily pegged with other Stage Act stands. I wished there was a special design on this like the exclusive release but alas nada. I never had a clear stand and was eyeing on getting one for quite some time so wish granted I guess. To accentuate it even more, there are two stacks of cell medals that you can slide in perfectly on the slots.

Other parts include an extra closed fist, a pointing hand, a hand with popsicles and of course another hand with the Tatoba core medals fashioned as if it is about to fling to our friend Eiji.

Aesthetically, Ankh Stand Set is more accurate and shinny gradient paint apps that exclusive. I highly recommend this to those who just purchased the second wave of Tatoba figures without Unkh. This set is way, way better. I cannot stress this more. Ankh can plug into the SHF Figuarts toys and other figures not released by Bandai! Whoa. Use your imagination to utilize this further.
