Toy Review: SIC Kiwami Tamashii Kamen Rider Zanki

I wish Bandai would continue the SIC Kiwami Tamashii line for Kamen Rider Hibiki. Even when they are not as popular as the other riders, the SIC Counterparts are very colourful and if you are too keen to look like the TV characters, we'll  SIC Hibiki figures don't need that extra morph so they are most likely too look like it. Besides, in my opinion the SIC Hibiki line is the most colourful bunch yet. But gathering SICs takes a toll on my humble budget, so I continue on to get the Kiwamis instead. In fact the KTs are not bad at all. A nice example is Zanki.

SIC KT Zanki doesn't work like SHFs but hell a lot better most of today's figures. Zanki is quite humble in his own right even if he doesn't have that perfect toe and shoulder articulation. But with a price that is 1/4 of your SH Figuarts you will never receive the same fun as any toy on that scale and price tag. Sculpting in this size is awesome. The only complaint about Zanki is that his gauntlets have missed paint apps that shows where the green mold starts and where the paint application begins.

Accessory count is also neato. He came with three hands - these are two holding hands for melee mode and one hand to actually for posing rock n roll style. Also he is equipped with two types of Retsuzan which is for me have great and almost correctly painted details. You may not be able to remove the Zantetsu from his belt but that's fine with me. Last but not the least the Disk Animal holder to be pegged in at his waist. 

I really dig the Hibiki SIC KT figures and I hope to see more of them in the future. I believe there is a bright future the holds for SIC Kiwami Tamashiis if Bandai keeps on producing amazingly crafted figures such as Zanki. More of my review with the video below.
