Tis the season to lend a hand.
Red River Entertainment recently organized a two-day charity event in
House of Itabashi, Tokyo to raise money for the victims of the tragic earthquake that hit Japan this year. The event was graced by former Super Sentai actors from Bioman to GaoRangers. Donations were raised from door tickets at 4500 Yen. Super Sentai fans will get a kick from the photos below. Also early this year, a fund raising event called
Super Hero Time was conducted by the Tokusatsu community lead by CSToys Chairman Masaki Seike (Mr. S), team RRR, Ryokuya and HJU. Its success lead to raising more that 4,000 US Dollars and Mr. S coordinated and delivered the money to local authorities. Also Japan online hobby store
HLJ raised 1,940,000 Yen (or 23,244.67 USD) of funds for their Japan relief initiative.
