Ultraman scriptwriter Shinichi Ichikawa age 70, passed away on Saturday, December 10 at 4:43 a.m. due to lung cancer. He was 70. Ichikawa is known as a recipient of the Japan Academy Prize for works such as Ultra Seven, Return of Ultraman, Ultraman Ace.
Born from, Isahaya city, Nagasaki Japan, the award winner wrote Ultra Seven (1966-1967), The Return of Ultraman (1971-1972), Ultraman Ace (1972-1973), Kizu Darake no Tenshi (1974-1975) among his works.
Aside from being a writter, Ichikawa was also a news and talk show host/commentator. He received NHK's Hōsō Bunka Shō honor and just last month, the government's Order of the Rising Sun (4th Class, Gold Rays with Rosette).
