Some of my friends would say that I am sometimes a compulsive buyer. I won't refute that, I would even say softly that if I see a new release I whisper "add to cart". LMAO. It is just that because of the passion that passed on to me by another S.I.C. lover whose code name goes by Locust, I just can' t help myself indulging on the S.I.C. spin. The latest adopted child of mine is the Toei Hero exclusive S.I.C. Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joke Gold Xtreme.
The S.I.C. Kamen Rider Cyclone Joker Gold Xtreme is W/Double's movie form in A to Z Gaia Memories of Fate. This is also the S.I.C. counterpart to last year's SHF offering. Honestly, there is no difference between the mold of this exclusive Toei Hero figure and S.I.C. CJX.
Same mold means same problems. First, he keeps on falling over - with or without the wings. I could only think of using the Tamashii Stand that came with Double for a quick fix. The chest piece together with the double driver like to detach. Next, the waist hasn't been improved as well and tends to be wobbly most of the time. In fact, every time I move the upper torso, the waist moves up and hides underneath the chest leaving a ghastly gap. CJGX also includes four hands for each side that are familiar with SIC CJ. Even with the negativity I brought in to describe the nitty gritty of things, CGJX continues to bring the articulation there is among S.I.C.s.
The obvious changes would be the mid area that was changed from clear transparent plastic to yellow gold. Although the chip board-like design on the wings from the movie was kept, it went a step further to synergize with the S.I.C. theme. These wings move independently and are on a peg/swivel joint design. These are also easy to plug in and taken out. Just the S.H. Figuarts, he doesn't include a Prism Bicker but has a pair of holding hands just in case you want to use these.
Last accessory to mention is the Xtreme memory, but this time there is no bird head that conjoins the memories.
Anyway, the S.I.C. Kamen Rider W Cyclone Joker Gold Xtreme is targeted to only a few. With a hefty price tag, it is easily to shy away from this. Add to cart if you have extra Yen to spend. There are mixed reactions on how the wings are fashioned to its S.I.C. make...what do you think?
