Well known to many as Hiroyo Hakase in Hikonin Sentai Akibarangers, voice actor Maaya Uchida together with Yuka Otsubo and Aya Uchida will voice in the latest comedy anime adaptation of Ai Mai Mi (I My Me).
Announced last week, Yuka Ōtsubo (Yuruyuri's Kyōko Toshinō) will voice Ai, Aya Uchida (Yuruyuri's Kaede, Freezing's Tichie Fenille) will voice Mai, and Maaya Uchida (Yuruyuri's Mari, Sankarea's Rea, Chūnibyō Demo Koi ga Shitai!'s Rikka) will voice Mii.
Ai Kayano (AnoHana's Menma, Lagrange's Muginami) was also announced to play the voice of Ponoka-sempai and Seitarō Mukai will voice as the narrator.
The three leads, Yuka, Aya and Maaya Uchida will also sing the show's theme song, "Girigiri Saikyō Ai Mai Mi!"
It has been reported that Itsuki Imazaki (Beyblade the Movie: Fierce Battle, episode director for Divergence Eve, Haibane Renmei) will be directing, writing the scripts, and designing the characters for the said anime. Game composer Fūga Hatori will be composing the music while the production is done at studio Seven.
The latest anime series will air on January 3, 2013 on AT-X, followed by TV Saitama, and KBS Kyoto then Niconico, Bandai Channel and Rakuten ShowTime services.
