Hey everyone this is the review of the S.H. Figuarts Cheeda Nick, Red Buster's buddyroid - a robot without sense of direction. It is quite exciting that Cheeda Nick is getting an S.H. Figuarts version thus getting the title as the first companion to get the S.H. Figuarts treatment.
I didn't even look at the price tag of this humanoid before getting through the details. Is he worth getting the Tamashii Web Exclusive mark? To my surprise, Cheeda Nick only has 2 handheld wheel guns and just two holding hands. I'm really disappointed that he doesn't have extra hands because I believe that extra hands will help to make Cheeda Nick more alive. That's it.
Well putting that dismay on the accessory count aside, Cheeda Nick has one of the best joint articulation than of any Super Sentai S.H. Figuarts we have seen this year. The most commendable part is the ab joint. The overall mold and paint applications on Cheeda Nick are outstanding.
What I think that sets off on the actual figure is how the toes are slanted upwards thus making him difficult to stand up. Good thing that the joints are sturdy enough to lift the weight of this upper torso once you get used to in balancing his feet.
I'm on the fence here since he has great mold and overall mix of both glossy, matte and metallic paint. If this could only transform into bike mode, then probably we have a win on Cheeda Nick. Sadly, he doesn't and we might get a separate Cheeda Nick SHF bike mode in the future.
