Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Knight Survive

As we end another year, Bandai is just teasing us to buy more next year through this S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Knight Survive. Its box may look familiar to you but sure it takes your breath away - again.

What is he inclusive with are a Tamashii Stage, 7 advent cards (that makes the Advent Cards on Knight complete), the Dark Visor-Zwei, 2 Dark Blades which one of them is for the Dark Arrow gimmick, 7 interchangeable hands and lastly detachable cape accessories.

You can use the can insert the card either on the Dark Visor or on the blade which makes this set unique. The stage may have the same emblem design but the colors are somewhat inverted to match the figure. Now, the cape accessories are latched just on top of the plugs seen on the back. I was advised to listen to a click so that these will stay on. I heard it a couple of times but these keep on falling and are easily detached by letting the figure fall on his back. The Dark Visor is attached on his right arm and there is no replacement peg for it. This means without the visor, there is a gaping hole.

In Survive Mode, Kamen Rider Knight's paint applications somehow fill in the dull blue and black colors surrounding the figure, making the metallic thingamajigs shine better on a spotlight. Articulation remains the best ones out there in S.H. Figuarts since it hides the joints better especially on the ankles. All I can say is that he looks awesome. 2012 still belongs to Ryuki riders.  Check out the video review below to see more of this figure in action.
