AkibaRanger's Kyoko Hinami To Star In A New Film

It was announced that gravure idol that On Thursday it was announced that 19-year old gravure idol and actress will star in Sakurahime, the latest film by Phone Call to the Bar director Hajime Hashimoto.

The film is based on the (1755-1829) period drama “Sakurahime Azuma Bunshō” by Tsuruya Namboku IV. Kyoko Hinami will play as a girl who was attacked by an unknown thief one night. After the incident, Sakurahime becomes obsessed with finding the man, whose identity was hidden aside from a distinctive tattoo. Later, she gets herself a matching tattoo and becomes a prostitute in order to seek him out. The man who attacked her, Gonsuke, will be played by Munetaka Aoki and the two will share a love scene.

Other cast members joining her are HIRO and Kuro-chan of the comedy trio Yasuda Dai Circus, AV actress Yuma Asami, and Makoto Nonomura, among others. “Sakurahime” will be released at Human Trust Cinema Shibuya on June 29, 2013.
