Den-O's Takeru Satoh Stars In A New Manga Live-Action Adaptation

Den-o's Takeru Satoh is a busy body again this year as he will be taking the lead role, Aki Ogasawara, in the live-action adaptation of Kotomi Aoki's "Kanojo wa Uso o Aishisugiteru" manga. Satoh will be joined by a 17-year old newcomer, Sakurako Ohara to play the female lead Riko Koeda.

The film's plot revolves around sound creator Aki Ogasawara, a bassist for the upcoming band, Crude Play and a regular high school girl named Riko Koeda. Before Crude Play makes their major debut, Aki withdraws to be an active composer. Later on, he shadows himself far from the limelight and calls himself a NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). Aki meets high school student Riko not knowing that she is a huge fan of his music and both will be romantically involved.

Kanojo wa Uso o Aishisugiteru will be directed by Koizumi Norihiro and is slated open in December of 2013
