Live-Action Gatchaman's G Suits Costs 2M Yen

As posted earlier, the G-Suits were revealed on official site for the live action film, Gatchaman. To make these more durable and withstand difficult action scenes, it was reported that it took a year to create these costumes which summed up to 2 million yen (about about US$200,000.) in total production cost.

Tori Matsuzaka commented that the suits "fit well for the 5 main cast members and were able to do action scenes like flying easily".  Tori Matsuzaka (Samurai Sentai Shinkenger) will play the lead character Ken Washio aka Ken the Eagle.

Other actors joining Matsuzaka are Go Ayano (Kamen Rider 555, Rurouni Kenshin) as Jo, Ayame Goriki (Mirai Nikki, IS) as Jun, Tatsuomi Hamada (Ultraman Zero, Gokaiger vs Gavan) as Jinpei and Ryohei Suzuki (Hana Kimi) as pilot Ryu to complete the cast.

The main plot revolves around 5 agents serving the International Science Organization in Tokyo in the near future. Galactor, a mysterious group whose technology far surpasses that of humans, has declared war on the entire world and has already subjugated half of it. Dr. Nanbu has assembled these five young heroes as humanity's last hope. Directed by Sato Toya, Gatchaman premieres August 24th.
