A female fiend in the Fourze movie Everybody, It's Space Time, the S.H. Figuarts Skydain pays a
modernized tribute to 1970’s classic Skyzel from Space Ironmen Kyodain. But Skyzel, to those who don’t know about the
show, was male.
This mechanical female showcases her jet-like attribute and
obvious suggestions that she is female. Hope you know what I am trying to
describe here. Skydain is enveloped with very metallic red and silver paint
applications that make the figure gain an illusion that the armor is made from
die-cast. The figure is inclusive of 2 hands and extra blades that replace the
panels on her arm. Switching these blades requires simple swapping and they are
very solid on Skydain.
Though a thing of beauty, this may be an easy skip since
this is only popular to just a few. There are no huge problem areas that I
encountered and if I saw some scratches or paint bubbles these are just small
and easy to forget.
Articulation is
great except for the waist that is too close to the belt, making squeaky noises
on every turn. Unless you are a completist , this is an ok figure taking to
account that the price tag doesn’t bother you at all.
