2014 Live-Action Rurouni Kenshin Wrap-up Report

After the initial announcement that the film production for the upcoming two new live-action Rurouni Kenshin movie sequels set for 2014 finally ended in December, Japan's Mezamashi News aired last January 7th some behind-the-scene footage and interviews from the cast. The film will feature Takeru Satoh reprising his role as Kenshin Himura.

The latest Rurouni movies will be based on Kyoto arc of Nobuhiro Watsuki's original manga, specifically, the Great Kyoto Fire and Legend's End storylines. The two-part movies will be entitled Rurouni Kenshin: The Great Kyoto Fire Arc and Rurouni Kenshin: The End of a Legend Arc or "Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen” and “Rurouni Kenshin: Densetsu no Saigo-hen" and will premier this August 1 and September 13, 2014.
