Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Sailor Mars

The 3rd Sailor Senshi to gain an S.H. Figuarts release is Rei Hino, also known as Sailor Mars. She is a teenage Japanese schoolgirl and Shinto priestess whopossesses powers associated with fire, as well as psychic and spiritual ones. The S.H. Figuarts form features include uniform colored in red and purple, along with red high heels.

Included in the set are 8 extra hands, one specifically to hold the Ofuda in between her fingers and 3 extra face replacements. Exchanging the face is the same with the first two figures by taking off her hairpiece and placing everything back together. Bandai continues the legacy by including her heart-shaped Tamashii Stage.

The problem with this figure, as I would repeat throughout my video review, is her heels. Throughout the review, I couldn’t find the right balance for most of her signature poses since the heels bend a lot. It could be also attributed to her curved hair. What is lacking with Mars is her transformation pen, but I guess this is not necessary since she is already in her sailor form. The rest; follows most of what you already seen in the anime.
