Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Mammoth Ranger (Black Ranger)

S.H. Figuarts Mammoth Ranger is finally released as we go closer to the completion of the rest of the Zyurangers. As a Tamashii Web Shop Exclusive, the toy collector will be presented with almost the same frame as Green Ranger and familiar designs like the tusks on the head, the famous diamond accents and of course, the Dino Buckler on the waist. To complete his initial look the Ranger Stick slides into the figure’s holster.

Mammoth Ranger is another excellent addition with extra parts such as 7 hands, the Ranger Slinger and the Mammoth Breaker. Bandai is quite sly to add the Dragon Attack Sword and the Tricelance parts which are meant to combine with other accessories to become the Howling Cannon. These will make sense until the Rangers are complete.

Sadly, the Mammoth Breaker is not really accurate and could only be held as an axe. When Tiger Ranger arrives, we can make a good comparison and hopefully have a show accurate version of the axe. I hope it is on my version but the knees and the joints near the crotch are very stiff. This maybe good as it might help you making fixed and steady leg positions. The entire set is still a good addition and I can’t wait to complete the entire team.More to this from the video review below.
