Rurouni Kenshin movie sequels set for 2014 have posted an English trailer showcasing the theme song for the said film. The song is entitled "Mighty Long Fall" by the band ONE OK ROCK. The channel also posted Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, and French languages of the trailer. Also a new poster has been revealed with the headline "Farewell, Kenshin".
According to publicity producer Tokunaga Kimura, the headline of the poster "signifies the end of the Kyoto arc, where Kenshin in his desperate state may not be able to honor his oath not to kill, thanks to the appearance of the most insane enemy — and the parting of loved ones."
Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoyo Inferno and Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends will feature Takeru Satoh reprising his role as
Kenshin Himura and Tatsuya Fujiwara to play the lead villain, Shishio Makoto.
The latest Rurouni movies will be based on Kyoto arc of Nobuhiro Watsuki's
original manga, specifically, the Great Kyoto Fire and Legend's End
storylines. The two-part movies will be entitled Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoyo Inferno and Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends
or "Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen” and “Rurouni Kenshin: Densetsu no
Saigo-hen" and will premier this August 1 and September 13, 2014 respectively.
