Kikaider Reboot Ending Theme Revealed

It was reported recently that the ending theme of the upcoming film Kikaider REBOOT is entitled: Go Go Kikader REBOOT 2014, an updated version from the 1974 TV series. The theme song will be performed by Columbia Artist - THE COLLECTORS. The lyrics will be written by Shotaro Ishinomori and the composition/arrangement will be done by Chumei Watanabe.

  

The new Kikaider/Jiro will be played by Jingi Irie and the original actor, Daisuke Ban will make an appearance in the movie as the mysterious psychologist Kyujiro Maeno. Joining the cast are Aimi Satsukawa who will play as Dr. Komyoji's daughter Mitsuko and Maryjun Takahashi as Android Mari. Other cast members will include Kazushige Nagashima, Hirotaro Honda (Kamen Rider Kabuto), Shingo Tsurumi (Kamen Rider Fourze) and Ryuji Harada.

The plot takes place where the "Ark Project" uses robots to solve problems and what Japanese government can't solve with human power alone. Robot engineering expert Nobuhiko Komyoji perishes and his rivals stole his plans. Komyoji's creation, Jiro, awakens and becomes the hero. Directed by Ten Shimoyama and written by Kento Shimoyama Kikaider REBOOT will premier this May 24, 2014.
