Kikaider Reboot Press Conference Video

A follow-up from our recent report on the recently held press conference last May 15th of Kikaider REBOOT, here is video featuring the cast and a special showdown between Kikaider and Hakaider. Kikader REBOOT takes place where the "Ark Project" uses robots to solve problems and what Japanese government can't solve with human power alone. Robot engineering expert Nobuhiko Komyoji perishes and his rivals stole his plans. Komyoji's creation, Jiro, awakens and becomes the hero.

New press conference photos have surface online recently and attended by the new Kikaider/Jiro will be played by Jingi Irie and the original actor, Daisuke Ban who will make an appearance in the movie as the mysterious psychologist Kyujiro Maeno. Aimi Satsukawa who will play as Dr. Komyoji's daughter Mitsuko and Maryjun Takahashi as Android Mari were also present during the event.

Other cast members will include Kazushige Nagashima, Hirotaro Honda (Kamen Rider Kabuto), Shingo Tsurumi (Kamen Rider Fourze) and Ryuji Harada. Directed by Ten Shimoyama and written by Kento Shimoyama Kikaider REBOOT will premier this May 24, 2014.
