Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Road Sector

After the long wait, Kamen Rider Black fans are finally treated to the S.H. Figuarts form of the Road Sector. Bandai’s representation of Kamen Rider Black’s secondary rider machine is highly detailed and with functions similar to past motorcycle releases. This has functional wheels, moving forks, a spring action at the back, working kickstand and an inner console similar to the show.

For the accessories, some are no far from other S.H. Figuarts bikes like the wheel stand and additional handlebars. But what sets this apart are the parts for the Attack Shield. Putting on the Attack Shield is easy by removing the black box on top of the bike and connecting saddle. Then slide the peg near the windshield and then the rest at the back and return the black box on the its previous position.

Though there are no solid die-cast parts on the figure, Bandai did pretty well in creating this for S.H. Figuarts. However, putting Kamen Rider Black on the bike together with the Attack Shield poses problems as the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Black is totally cramped and it is almost impossible to position the feet on the rest pads without straining the figure’s joints. If you have watched the show, Kamen Rider Black has his arms still folded but on this set, the figure’s arms are totally stretched out.
