Bandai is trying once again to redeem their high standards in the toy manufacturing business with the arrival of the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim Orange Arms. The Armored Rider sports the metallic Orange motif with influences from Japan’s Warring States Era. The figure is carefully designed to replicate the character, from the orange-shaped compound visor to the finest details of the Sengoku Driver’s faceplate.
What this set is inclusive with are the 8 additional wrist replacements, an Orange Lock Seed, the orange-like sword called the Daidaimaru and the Musou Saber. As part of the first issue offering, fans are complimented with a stage with Gaim, Baron, Ryugen and Zangetsu’s logo prints. The Musou Saber can be attached on the figure through a slide-on holster. This also combines with the Daidaimaru to form in Naginata Mode. Gaim’s Lock Seed seen on the belt can be removed and placed on the Musou Saber.
Bandai squeezed the right flavors from past releases and used it on Kamen Rider Gaim. The result is an almost perfect execution in figure form that would delight any Kamen Rider Gaim fans out there. What we have is the right number of accessories and no nonsense gimmicks that works. If I would point out some of the flaws these are the default Lock Seed and the knife that sometimes detaches from the Sengoku Driver whenever you stress the figure in bending forward. Then the holster is on a square peg that restricts some movements on the left leg. And that is all.
i really like the blue metallic color on your first photo when the actual product is like navy blue/
