Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Gokou

S.H. Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Gokou figure’s gi came on a lighter orange palette much to match what most of us had seen in the anime. Out of the bat, this figure is almost as if it was exactly lifted from the anime series. The default face is quite spot on and gives the chills to whoever wants to pick this up.

The action figure is inclusive of a face replacement and 5 extra wrists such as punch, grapple, blast, and instant transmission feature. Swapping the face follows most S.H. Figuarts anime figures where you need to take out the bangs out before replacing it with a new part.

In a nutshell, Super Saiyan Son Gokou feels a little bit light on extras whereas the other releases had a healthier stock of accessories. But the good thing is, this is just up to your humble budget unlike other releases that had less but still have commanding price tags. Although as been said that this release doesn’t come with a lot of bonus accessories; it is still an incredibly poseable representation of Super Saiyan Goku in this scale. Highly recommended for Dragon Ball Z fans.
