Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gridon Donguri Arms

As the first exclusive released in line with the show Kamen Rider Gaim, the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gridon Donguri Arms has a mix of flat brown mold as a base and metallic paint applications on the armor. Based on an acorn-based armored Medieval Squire form, key features on the figure includes the Sengoku Driver with a moving cutter coupled with a detachable Lock Seed. Then finishing it off is his Dome Casque with the Nut Eye compound visor on the head.

However as an exclusive, the figure only has a few parts like the closed Acorn Lock Seed, 4 extra hand replacements and the hammer called the Donkachi.

Though the closed Lock Seed makes it consistent with previous Kamen Rider Gaim releases, there is no other point to include this in since it doesn’t attach to the hammer. This is one of the sets I agree to be an exclusive because there are more interesting characters I am more excited for to see in S.H. Figuarts form. With the price out of the question, Bandai did a fair job in converting the character in figure form. What I wish for is the inclusion of the Oren Lock Seed just for kicks.
