Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Garren Jack Form

Bandai extended the personification of Sakuya Tachibana’s upgrade in S.H. Figuarts form by releasing Kamen Rider Garren Jack Form. Using the Fusion Peacock card and the Rouze Absorber on his left wrist, the figure has additional gold trims, specifically on the chest and near the eyes. The main gimmick is his wings that fold and open to provide the rider flight.

Inclusions are 4 Rouze Cards, his bladed gun now called the J-Garren Rouzer, a holster an extra fanned out deck and 6 extra wrist replacements. The holster is similar to the first Garren release that attaches on the waist. It is big enough to let the gun pass through without any worries. Cards do slide on the reader as it would too like his normal weapon.

This upgraded look to me is more welcomed than the base form just because the additional gold accents do make the figure more stunning. Not to mention are the peacock wings that bring their own kind of luster. However, this version has a few tighter joints that are somewhat more difficult to maneuver. Finally, are the slightly loose wings that will become a nuisance, if the figure is played a lot. In fact after the review, I was able to detach these without any effort.
