Toy Review: Tamashii Effect Burning Flame (Red & Blue)

The Tamashii Burning Flame effect from Bandai fills the gap in the line for a universal accessory that can be used in any Tamashii Nation products. These bring the needed burning charisma to the already popular brands such as S.H. Figuarts, Soul of Chogokins, D-Arts and alike.

The effect parts on each set has the same mold as the other, the difference of course are their corresponding colors, matching the motif or characteristics of each figure. There are 7 parts each, 3 major standing ones and four more flame attachments. These so called attachments act as extensions to either create a different shape or just make the flame bigger. According to the box, each attachment has a corresponding bigger accessory. Another way is to clip on each extremities of the figure and works better with S.H. Figuarts.

Not all clip ons can be attached on S.H. Figuarts as there are limitations on the sizes of the limbs. However, there are no limitations on the applications of the sets as Bandai made a great universal effects set that can be used not only for Tamashii Nations or Bandai offerings but also other toys not related to the company. The only limitation is your imagination.
