Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Mr. Satan (Dragonball Z)

More and more side characters coming in to the S.H. Figuarts with the Mr. Satan in the Dragon Ball series. Out of the box, you’ll get the character in his signature cape and the world championship belt around the waist. However the cape is quite stiff so if you need more movement out of the figure, you need to remove the cape by detaching the head and the peg the holds at the back of the cape. For a better waist movement, you can also split the upper torso and replace the belt with a white belt. A brown plug replaces the gap at the back and you can take this out by pushing the bottom of the tab.
More to this on the video review after the jump.
So other than the white belt and the cape, the set also includes 3 more quirky face sculpts, one more martial arts belt, 6 more hands and the puppy that should have been part of Majin Buu’s set. The puppy only has a head movement.

Mr. Satan, in my opinion is one of the best character-to-figure adaptation in the Dragon Ball franchise. Even if there may be some limitations in the movement, what you need is already included. I may need to put this side by side with the Kamen Rider world’s Dan Kuroto because it is the quirky-ness of the figure that makes it more interesting. Mr. Muscle himself is no exception.
