Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Iron Man Mark 85 (Avengers: Endgame)

Tony Stark’s last armored suit in the MCU has finally arrived in the S.H. Figuarts line. The Iron Man Mark 85 has more prominent gold metallic finish than of previous iterations mainly on the thighs, upper arms, face and shoulder plates. In terms of joints, some if not all are similar to Mark 50 which makes this one highly poseable figure. The inclusions are not that exceptional with just 8 extra hands and 6 blast effects for the hands and feet.

Unlike Hot Toys, this set still lacks some important accessories like the armament on his back, a helmetless version of Tony and most importantly, all 6 Infinity Stones which he finally removed from Thanos. Chopping hands could have been removed as I find no need to use them. As the last suit, I do not mind paying premium but I expect premium accessories as well. But since it is the last armor, I wished there could have been more than this as I couldn’t comprehend the contents vs the price point.
