Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Black Panther (Captain America: Civil War)

The King of Wakanda has been immortalized in S.H. Figuarts form based in the movie Captain America: Civil War. The figure’s design was molded from his Panther Habit suit as seen on his first appearance in the MCU. The body texture is a mix of both coarse and smooth to features making this a more intricate figure to make in the S.H. Figuarts line. Unfortunately, the set only comes with 2 pairs of hands.
I believe I have implied in this video that the figure is nice to see and hold. The smaller details like the claw and the amulet-like design on the chest reassures Bandai’s position as one of the best brands in the 1/12 scale genre. There is a “however” moment when I was really grinding on the poses for the figure. Having single joints in some parts seem to constrict the movement the limbs. This is not good as Black Panther needed to look like he is super humanly agile. Accessories look like it was a rush to get the figure out to the market as it was too little for someone like Black Panther.
