Spiderman Homecoming version is the character’s introduction to the S.H. Figuarts line. The suit and color is a familiar site especially to long-time fans but the highlight is the textured webbing that is a good to the touch both front and back.
The set includes a backpack, 12 replaceable hands, 3 kinds of webs, a phone, a tamashii plug, an eye picker and 2 pairs of exchangeable eyes. You can slip the backpack on to the figure but to further secure this, the emblem at the back should be removed to plug this accessory in. This is the same when you use the Tamashii Stage adapter. Removing the fists first will allow you to slide the webshooters on the cuffs then you can start working on your shooting poses.
There are a few things I wanted to really address in this review of what I didn’t like about the set. In my observation, the neck is to long on the first glance. But this annoyance disappears once you start posing the figure and bending the neck. This could have improved if only the figure has an upper bicep swivel. The websling could have been improved too if this is wired instead of plastic. If is not mentioned on the instruction, I wouldn’t even tell if the black small block is a phone because of the lack of details. What I can really compliment is how articulated this is especially on the lower torso as it allows the figure to really mimic Spiderman’s moves not only in the movie, but in comic books as well. I’m glad that the pairing of the eyes is separated so that you can play a lot on Spiderman’s expressions.
