The S.H. Figuarts Ant-man based from the movie Captain America Civil War is the first version released for the said toy line. It is actually the upgraded version from Hank Pym’s version back in the day. You already got the signature helmet and the iconic suit but what is missing are the buttons on the wrists to activate the Pym particles to change his size. Unfortunately, the set on has a pair of hands and a smaller version of the hero which the height is not more that the nail on your thumb.
I’m not going to lie, though it may look great, it does feel cheap. The lines and paint application is not as finesse as other Marvel heroes released in S.H. Figuarts. I believe the shoulder pads are unnecessary and should have taken some pointers from other SHFs that are better looking without these. It fails in some accuracy like the eyes are sharper than the movie, and the cable lines that should be bulging lay flat on the figure. I know that the small version of Ant-man represent how he shrinks into ant-size, but having a platform lessens the possible applications for it.
